are you a restaurant owner looking to recycle jars and wine bottles?
Did you know that the Bemidji area including most of Northern Minnesota is unable to recycle glass? Unfortunately, our small communities don't have the proper facilities to melt the glass down for recycling so the glass ends up in our local landfill as a crushed layer.

Upcycle Partner Program
[ Jane, perhaps talk about how you'd like to partner with local businesses to recycle, reuse, repurpose certain types of glass products. Maybe we could create an "green janie up-cycle partner program" logo that the business can use in their marketing materials to promote that they are taking steps to be more green (a win-win for marketing and our planet!). ]
[ also, another business idea could be consulting businesses on how they can be more green and connecting them with other resources to help that transition. For example, more efficient lighting with Del, more efficient heating with Charlie, more energy efficient with Cat (I'm not sure if she's still doing that service or not), etc. ] |
